   Hey Drew—we’re going to have a competition over at buonodamangiare.wordpress.com to figure out which picture is the more heartbreaking: a picture of Lucy looking at the ground because she’s sad that her mouth hurts from teething, or the picture you took of yourself looking sad in the mirror with the party balloons in the background. I can make a convincing case for either of them.

   I was actually going for a wry grin in that shot. Maybe it didn’t come out. But I was teething at the time, so I’ve got this little competition locked. The fix is in; in your face, Lucy!
