The Wedding Party
The Gentlemen:
Andy Gyurisin (Best Man): Andy is a very old friend of Drew’s and a longtime friend of Sarah. It was at his and his wife Jen’s party that we met way back in the fall of 2001. So you can blame them for this whole wedding thing happening! Andy will be escorting Jocelyn Fait at the wedding.
Aaron Bady (Groomsman): Aaron and Drew went to grad school together in Washington, DC. He’s currently pursuing his PhD in Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. Aaron will be escorting Jennifer Fait at the wedding.
Trent Bauserman (Groomsman): Trent is another old friend of Drew’s—when we were kids we used to get stern looks from our church’s pastor as we goofed off in the balcony during the sermons. Trent is a public affairs advisor who lives in downtown Washington, DC and he will be escorting Ashley Fait at the wedding.
Dan Mangiavellano (Groomsman): We got to know Dan and his wife Linzey when Drew was in grad school at American University. They’ve just been getting their New Orleans house in order after it suffered damage in Hurricane Katrina. Both Dan and Linzey are earning their PhDs (Dan in Literature at LSU, Linzey in History at Tulane). Dan will be escorting Aubrey Fait at the wedding.
The Ladies:
Jocelyn Fait (Maid of Honor): Jocelyn is starting high school in the fall in Mequon, WI and is Sarah’s youngest sister. But that doesn’t mean she’s the smallest! Andy will be, ahem, looking up to her this summer as her escort. Jocelyn is also studying ballet.
Jennifer Fait (Bridesmaid): Jennifer is a senior at St. Johns College in Annapolis, MD, and is planning on heading off to grad school this fall to study Library Science. She’ll be Aaron’s partner for the wedding.
Ashley Fait (Bridesmaid): Ashley is finishing her freshman year at Marquette University in Milwaukee, where she’s thinking about majoring in communications. She’s also a new member of a sorority, and will be paired up with Trent at the wedding.
Aubrey Fait (Bridesmaid): Aubrey is also a freshman and goes to St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana where she’s already begun her major in Equine Studies. She also is a member of St. Mary’s equestrian team. She’ll be Dan’s partner for the wedding.
Haley Wasserman (Flower Girl): Haley is finishing second grade in Richfield, Wisconsin and lives on a farm with her folks, some horses and some cats. Hailey likes to dance and is a Brownie Girl Scout.
